Day 10- Cordero - Runnin' with the homies

It's so nice to be 10 days in. Double digits, baby! It's been a very, very good week. The day before last, I get a call from a banker offering our center $2,000; just like that. Fill out a piece of paper and here you go. My runs have felt super easy. And I only have 6 days of work left for the year! A good week, indeed.

Of course, it's also the 2nd week of Advent. Have I said I love this time of year? The anticipation leading up to Christmas is wonderful. We have an Advent wreath and every night at dinner, we light our candles and do an activity and Christmas story with the kids. They love it. I like that we can focus on the real meaning of Christmas by doing this as a family.

On another note, tonight was HFCRC night. Wednesday nights are the best weeknight! I was the only girl tonight, so I really was running with the homies. I did 5.5 miles and felt awesome. I meant to take a picture and forgot, so again, I'll just have to post a random picture. Actually, 5 of the 8 of us who ran tonight are pictured here, so I think it'll do.
